GrainExpanding
The GrainExpanding phase in Wheat represents the developmental period from Anthesis to MaximumGrainLength. It is influenced by thermal time only.
Overview
The GenericPhase model simulates the time between the Anthesis
and MaximumGrainLength
stages.
- This phase starts at Anthesis and ends at MaximumGrainLength, when the grain is considered to be fully ripe.
- The model uses daily Thermal Time, retrieved from the
[Phenology].ThermalTime
function. - The Target thermal time is fixed as constant for this phase, with default value of 120.0 °Cd.
